Attempt to rape minors

SHILLONG, JUNE 22: Twenty seven years old Md. Shahid Ahmed was arrested by Rynjah police on Saturday after he had been accused of trying to rape two minor girls on June 21. The arrest was made following an FIR filed by the mother of the two kids with the police. The girls whom he tried to rape are eight and nine years respectively. The police are now investigating into the rape allegation. – By Our Reporter
