SHILLONG, JAN 19: The BJP released its first list for the Meghalaya assembly election slated for February 23. The list was released after the Central Election Committee (CEC) of the BJP met Saturday under its president Nitin Gadkari
The CEC meeting was attended by senior party leaders like LK Advani, chairman of the BJP parliamentary party, Sushma Swaraj, leader of opposition (Lok Sabha), Arun Jaitley, leader of opposition (Rajya Sabha) and all the members of the the party’s CEC .
The committee decided to release the names of the following candidates.
