SHILLONG, FEB 5: The state government on Friday approved appointment of lecturers in the different government colleges in the state. “The proposal for appointment of lecturers in different subjects in the government colleges against the vacancy posts under regulation 3F was approved by the cabinet,” deputy chief minister in-charge education RC Laloo told reporters after the meeting on Friday.
He informed that there are around 22 vacant posts in the Tura Government College, Kiang Nangbah Government College, Williamnagar Government College and Captain Williamson Sangma Memorial College.
Interview was also held with the Director of Higher and Technical Education as chairman and different principals as member and experts.
According to him, the proposal was however made after there were no candidates for certain posts.
“Now we are going to issue appoint under 3F to these candidates according to merit,” Laloo said while expressing hope that this will help students conduct themselves in classes with the coming of the new teachers.-By Our Reporter
