SHILLONG, DEC 3:The Department of Agriculture, Meghalaya in collaboration with MBDA will organize a first of its kind Farmers’ Parliament on December 4 – 5 , at the State Convention Centre, Shillong. Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma will inaugurate the event tomorrow in presence of Agriculture Minister Banteidor Lyngdoh. Over 700 farmers will attend the parliament.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong will be chairing the session during presentations by the Chairmen of the Sub-Groups on the 2nd day of the farmers’ parliament.
