SHILLONG, JUL 5: The state Director General of Police (DGP) R Chandranathan has tested positive for COVID-19.
“The DGP was infected with COVID-19 day before yesterday,” Health Minister AL Hek told reporters on Monday.
He said condition of the DGP is stable. “He is having mild symptoms and regular check up is being done by doctors from the Shillong Civil Hospital,” Hek said.
