Dkhar appointed as CM’s political adviser

SHILLONG, JUNE 18: United Democratic Party (UDP) vice president Allantry Franklin Dkhar has been appointed as the political adviser to the chief minister Conrad Kongkal Sangma.

In a statement issued here on Monday, Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat informed that the chief minister is pleased to appoint Allantry Franklin Dkhar as political adviser and Arlene Sangma as political secretary with perks and facilities under category ‘C’ with effect from the date of assumption of charge as specified in Fin (AF) Department’s O.M. No.FEM.44/2003/Pt II/158, dated 17.09.2010.

It may be mentioned here the UDP is a major ally of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance government led by the National People’s Party (NPP).
