SHILLONG, FEB 1: The Election Expenditure Observers appointed by the Election Commission of India for the upcoming Assembly polls, slated to be held on February 27, have arrived in the different districts of the state.
The District Election Officer, West Garo Hills District has informed here on Thursday that the Election Expenditure Observers appointed by the ECI have arrived and are camping at Circuit House, Tura.
Any complaint relating to election expenditure may kindly be lodged before the respective Expenditure Observer whose contact numbers are given as follows.
Vijay Choudhary, Expenditure Observer for 51-South Tura (ST), 52-Rangsakona (ST), 56-Gambegre (ST) and 57-Dalu (ST) Assembly Constituencies can be contacted at 9485402316, 7421064985 and 03651-233050 in the allotted Room No 3.
Rajeev Kumar, Expenditure Observer for 48-Selsella (ST) and 50-North Tura (ST) Assembly Constituencies can be contacted at 9485402321, 8014125360 and 03651-233054 in the allotted Room No 4.
A D Roy, Expenditure Observer for 44-Raksamgre (ST), 45-Tikrikilla (ST) and 49-Dadenggre (ST) Assembly Constituencies can be contacted at 9485402324, 8014855851 and 03651-233055 in the allotted Room No 8.
Khubchand T Pandya, Expenditure Observer for 46-Phulbari (Gen) and 47-Rajabala (Gen) Assembly Constituencies can be contacted at 9485402322, 8014137249 and 03651-233014 in the allotted Room No 2.
Dhandapani K.N. is the Expenditure Observer for the three Assembly constituencies in South West Garo Hills – namely, 53-Ampati (ST), 54-Mahendraganj (ST) and 55-Salmanpara. He has arrived at Ampati on January 31, 2018 and is camping at Ampati Circuit House.

The District Election Officer, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh has informed that the Expenditure Observers for the General Election to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly 2018 for the 8-Mawhati A.C , 9-Nongpoh A.C and 10 – Jirang A.C is Rajesh Meena, contact No is 9383051408, Room No. 209 in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh and 16562 is the Observer ‘s Code whereas Surender Malik, is for the 11 – Umsning A.C and 12 – Umroi A.C, his contact No. is 9383051409, Room No. 111 in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh and 21570 is the Observer’s Code.
The Expenditure Observers will be available in their office on their first visit which will be from January 31 to February 2, second visit from February 13 to February 27and their third visit is from March 28 to April 4.
