SHILLONG, DEC 1: The Chief Electoral Officer, Meghalaya has informed that the Election Commission of India has extended the period of filing claims and objections in the state upto 15th December, 2017 (Friday).
He further informed that the Special Verification Drive as part of ongoing Summary Revision and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will visit house to house for purpose of verification and Electoral Rolls Revision.
