TURA, NOV 1: The 2nd edition of “Bilgaro Challenge 2016” will begin from November 4-6 at Ballonggre and Watregre. This year’s annual event will include two exciting on-track events. The event will feature Hill Climb and SPRINT in the class of SUV, above and below 1300 cc, Diesel and Local and Open class.
Buoyed by the huge success of the 1st edition the organizers have decided to include local class this year to promote and encourage local amateur drivers. The event will feature some of the most dominant names in Indian motor sports fraternity. National drivers and ex national Champions have confirmed to participate in the event.
“Bilgaro Challenge is a brainchild of Tura Motor Sports Club with the sole intention of promoting motorsports and tourism simultaneously”, said Titthue Ch Momin, secretary of TMSC.
“Sporting activities are so important in the development of tourism industry in any country. It is exciting and fast paced sport, luring people of all ages. It is a major tourist attraction”, Momin added.
In the past Motor Sports event in Tura has attracted many drivers from outside the state and mainland India as well. The organizers say that the event is set to attract more competitors, both local and from outside the state, the event is expected to have more than 40 numbers of competitors in total.
Tura Motor Sports Club also hereby announced that the online registration (http://tmsc.org.in/registration-form/) for the event is open and will remain till 3rd of November, 2016.-From Our Correspondent
