TURA,JAN 18: The staff of Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) on Monday held a meeting to discuss the issue of non-payment of salary for the last six months. The staffs decided to hold a silent agitation as a mark of protest against non-payment of salaries beginning Wednesday for three days by wearing black badge.
The staffs have decided to call an office strike if the authority does not respond to their demands.-From Our Correspondent
