SHILLONG, DEC 21: For smooth and increase in the Air connectivity in the north eastern part of the country, Government of India is now planning on sea-plan. Today for the expansion of the Shillong airport, the central Government has sanctioned Rs 180 crores. Shillong will be connected to Silchar, Imphal, Aizawl and Agartala, BJP state spokesman Basu Chakraborty said in a statement issued here on Thursday.
