SHILLONG, SEPT 25: Health Minister AL Hek today said that the state government is planning to set up blood banks in all the district hospitals across the state.
“The government intended to install blood banks in all the district hospitals in Meghalaya,” Hek told the House while replying to a cut motion in the Assembly here on Tuesday.
He however said that these hospitals need to fulfil the criteria and norms laid down for the setting up of blood banks.
