HNLC’s OGW arrested

SHILLONG, JUNE 8: Two over ground workers of the proscribed Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) were arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) of Kolkata police on Sunday. Based on intelligence inputs given by Shillong police, the Kolkata police arrested the two identified as Albert Jaroa (29) and Amar Sinha (30), both hailing from Laitumkhrah Nongrimaw from Kolkata, East Khasi hillsSP M Kharkrang informed.

Kharkhrang said, a police team from Shillong is already in Kolkata to take custody of the accused.According to him, the duos are over ground workers of the HNLC. The two have been working for Phyrnailang Swer, a top leader of the HNLC who was also arrested up from Kolkata earlier.- By Our Reporter
