SHILLONG, OCT 20: The winter session of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) on Wednesday was adjourned till November 8, in view of the bye elections to the two Assembly seats under its jurisdiction.
“The deputy chairman Alvin Khyriem Sawkmie has adjourned the House till November 8, due to the upcoming bye-elections to Mawryngkneng and Mawphlang constituencies,” KHADC chief Titosstarwell Chyne said.
He informed that the Council will introduce the Khasi Hills Autonomous District (Village and Town Development Council) Bill, 2021 during the winter session.
