SHILLONG, JUNE 19: The Islamia Secondary School has been temporarily relocated at Madrasa Hemeyatul Islam Upper Primary School near Garikhana Mosque, Lumdiengjri. The alternative arrangement was made after sealing of the entire school building by the district administration in compliance with the order of the Meghalaya high court.
The school is one amongst the twenty high rise buildings which were sealed by a committee constituted on an order of the court after they were found to have violated the building by-laws of the MUDA. Principal of the school also informed that the rescheduled half yearly examination will commence at 11:30 am from June 22.- By Our Reporter
