‘Keep river clean’

SHILLONG, APR 26: The Chief Executive Officer, Jowai Municipal Board has informed the general public and all concerned that the Hon’ble National Green Tribunal (NGT) Eastern Zone Bench Kolkata has directed to stop all activities like washing of car, discharge of effluent etc in Myntdu River. It has also banned operation of all car washing centres located on both sides of the Myntdu River and to stop all construction in and around Myntdu River Basin.
