Shillong, Oct 2: The newly floated All Meghalaya Journalists” Union (AMJU) elected senior journalists Philip Marwein as its president and Prasad Gupta as its general secretary in an election held as the Shillong Press Club Tuesday.
Andrew W. Lyngdoh been elected as its vice president, Evmer War (treasure), Walton Lyttan (organizing secretary), Bhabok Laloo (publicity secretary), Lampharang Nongspung (assistant general secretary).
The executive members are MM Thaiang, Rapbor Rynshiang, Evanjoplin Dkhar, Babul Dkhar, D. Banjop Mukhim, Section Syiemlieh, Rikynti Marwein and Mike Kharraswai.
The disciplinary committee members are Billy Domes, Reigning Lyngdoh and Lambok Thabah.- By Our Reporter
