Shillong, Oct 2: In what can be termed as the most freakiest and tragic accident, a lady Sirian Lyngdoh Kynshi died after a tree fell on top of her while she was collecting firewood at Mawlai, Mawkynroh Tuesday.
The freakiest and the most tragic thing about this accident that took away a life was that the tree that fell on top of the lady was being sawed by four men Thomas Kharlynnai, Sivirius Kharlynnai, Tingbor Jana and Sirian Lyngdoh and the victim was collecting firewood just under the tree.
None of the four people knew that the victim was collecting firewood under the tree that they were cutting. The victim was immediately rushed to the Shillong Civil Hospital where she was declared dead.-By Our Reporter
