Missing husband gives Pinky’s death a twist

Shillong, Sept 5: Pinky Rai, whose body was found from Sonapani, died as her body hit stones when it was swept away by the water said the postmortem report . However, the postmortem report is yet to be dispatch to the police.

However, the police are investigating the murder angle as a counter FIR has been filed by Pinky’s brother Pankaj Rai stating that he suspects foul play as his sister was harassed by her in-laws.

The mystery is that where has the one and half year son of Pinky who had gone missing along with her gone. Interestingly, Pinky’s husband Pappu Rai has gone missing ever since the counter FIR was filed by Pankaj Rai.

Police has asked his relatives to rely the message that he must immediately come back to Shillong and report to them. The disappearance of Pappu Rai has given credence to Pankaj Rai’s allegation that his sister must have been murdered.- By Our Reporter
