TURA,NOV 5: A teenage boy identified as Mohammad Allaudin Islam, 17 was found in a unconscious state from Rari village in Meghalaya’s North Garo hills on Thursday. Islam had gone missing from the neighbouring Assam’s Goalpara district five days ago.
His parents had filed a missing report at Krishnai police station in Goalpara district. “He was found near Line Ading village by villagers under the Bajengdoba police station with his hands and legs tied, though he was still breathing. The police were informed and rushed to the spot.
He is very weak and could not speak due to his wounds. He has been sent to Goalpara Hospital for further treatment”, said a police official.-From Our Correspondent
