SHILLONG, APR 2: Superintending Engineer (PHE), Greater Shillong Circle, Shillong has informed that due to breakdown of the 750 mm dia C.I. Gravity main of Greater Shillong Water Supply Scheme at Lumsohriew (near Lad Mawreng) on the morning of 1st April, 2018 there will be no water supply till the evening of 3rd April, 2018.
The areas which will be affected during the above period are Shillong Municipal Board areas, Shillong Cantonment Board areas, Nongthymmai and Mawlai. Every effort is being made to complete the repair works for restoration of normal water supply by the evening of 3rd April, 2018.
