Welcoming the decision announced of the United Democratic Party (UDP) to contest in all the seats, Conrad said, “If they plan to contest in all the 29 seats, we welcome that and we will accordingly fight it out in the field but obviously being partners we are trying to talk and figure out if there are any ways we can work together but we are open to any kind of situation that comes out.”

But Conrad said the party will be happy if there was a chance where NPP and UDP could work together in the district council adding “We are still taking but each political party has its own aspiration which we cannot suppress.”
