Rangkynsai, Sales XI wins

SHILLONG, APR 14: Rangkynsai defeated Raj Bhawan by 3 wickets in the second division Knock Out Cricket Tournament 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA cricket ground, Polo.

Raj Bhawan won the toss and elected to bat first. They were dismissed for 97 runs in 20 overs. Deepak Thapa hit 51 runs off 55 balls. And Kishan Lyngdoh scored 11 runs off 14 balls. For Rangkynsai,  Sanborlang Lyngdoh and Pynhunlang took 3 wickets each.

In reply, Rankynsai reached the target in 19.1 overs losing 7 wickets. Romel Jyrwa scored 33 runs off 32 balls and Sanborlang Lyngdoh 11 runs off 11 balls. While Robin Chettri took 3/13 runs and Sanjay Mandal took 2/14 runs.

Second Match: A partnership between Sanjit Deb 39 runs off 53 balls not out and Debashish Ganguly 23 runs off 18 not out helped Sales XI to defeat Peak Hawks by 47 runs. Sales XI won the toss and chose to bat first, they scored 137 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Dipankar took 2/20 runs and Rahul Baruah took 1/22 runs for Peak Hawks.

In reply, Peak Hawks were all out for 90 runs in 17 overs. Deepak Sunar scored 35 runs off 35 balls and Rahul Baruah scored 16 runs off 14 balls. While Swaroop Dey took 3/12 runs and Manojit Ghosh took 3/27 runs for Sales XI.
