Shillong, Sept 14: Former Indian vice captain Rennedy Singh will lead Shillong Lajong FC in the Federation Cup scheduled from September 19 at Jamshedpur. Shillong Lajong will first take on Mumbai FC on Wednesday and Dempo SC Pvt. Ltd on September 21 and Pailan Arrows on Sept 23.
Speaking to news reporters at Hotel Center Point Lajong coach Desmond Bupin said, “Reneddy Sing has recovered from his injury and will lead the team in the Federation cup.” He said from the junior team Samuel Shadap will play in the Federation Cup”.
He also said that he is satisfied with the draw and added “The moral of the boys are upbeat after they beat Wellington Phoniex in the North East Lajong Super Series”.- By Our Reporter
