SHILLONG, MAY 27: The State Bank of India (SBI) conducted a Mega Car Loan mela in the main branch premises on Tuesday. The loan mela was inaugurated by Deepak Kumar Lalla Deputy General Manager SBI Shillong in the presence of KJV Nagaraja Regional Manager, D Guru Raja Rao AGM Shillong main branch, Uday Pal AGM RASMECC and other bank officials and customers, general public and car dealers.
Six dealers from reputed car companies participated and displayed their latest models during the mela.
Speaking on the occasion Lalla said that SBI is the most preferred lender in car Loan segment and is the market leader in car loans. He also said that SBI car loan interest rate is the lowest in the market. There is no pre payment penalty and the repayment period is up to 84 months.
On the first day of the car loan mela 10 loans were sanctioned and disbursed. The mela will continue on Wednesday too. There was a lucky draw for the visitors and entry is also free.- By Our Reporter
