Inaugurating the seminar as the chief guest, A Ch Marak, ADC, informed the students that our need for industrial revolution should not cause environmental degradation and the environmental policy must be adhered to while the industries are being set up. He also urged the students to participate in various kinds of inter-school competitions in order to boost up their scientific knowledge.
The District School Education Officer, Illa G Momin, in her welcome address informed the students that one student will be selected during the seminar to represent the district in the State Level Science Seminar which will be held in Shillong on the 28 of this month.
During the inaugural function, Principal of Rongrenggre Govt. Higher Secondary School, SG Momin, delivered the key-note address while the science teacher of Trinity Secondary School, PK Jha, proposed the vote of thanks.
