“We demand the state government to immediately cancel the transfer order of the DPRO A Rynjah without citing any solid ground,” KSU-SWKH general secretary Forwardman Nongrem said in a memorandum.

Terming the order as unacceptable, he said, “We wonder as to why such officer with good reputation and enormous contribution to the services of the district had been transferred in a nick of time even though she had not completed her tenure as departmental head of the district as laid down by the government.”

The transfer order was issued on August 25 in which the particular officer who had joined the district as the DPRO in 2013 and is yet to complete her term.
