TURA, AUG 22: Two unidentified men on Thursday abducted a 16 year old boy from Chibinang, near Phulbari in West Garo hills district. Police said the two men barged into the residence of the teenager and abducted the boy at gunpoint in presence of his parents. The incident took place at 8 pm.
Two weeks ago, an eight year old boy from the same village was abducted. He was released after four days of captivity. Police have visited the victim’s family this morning but failed to obtain much information. No FIR has been lodged in connection with the case. Based on information received from the local resident, police has launched its search operation.- From Our Correspondent
