Three militants surrender

TURA, DEC 2: Three UALA militants surrendered to the West Garo hills district police. The surrendered militants have been identified as Thangreng R Marak (19) who has surrendered on November 30 while the other two Wailith Marak (23) and Sudindro A Sangma (21) surrendered on Monday in Raksamgre.  Thangreng. Recently three of the UALA militants were killed in counter insurgency operations in the East Garo hills district.  West Garo hills SP Mukesh Singh informed that the militants surrendered without any arms or ammunition. He said according to the surrendered militants they had run away from their camp.- By Our Reporter
