Shillong, August 4:  In what appears to be another suicide case, a boy and a girl were reportedly drowned at Wahlyngkien,  Kshaid Demthring near Sa-I-Mika Park Cherrapunjee on Saturday noon.
The duo have identified as Banylla Syiemïong, aged 19, a resident of Mawshabuit who was currently pursuing her MBBS along with her friend Ronald Sawian, aged 21, a resident of Umpling, pursuing his BSc in Agriculture at Allahabad.
According to the police, the body of Banylla Syiemïong has been recovered while search for the body Ronald Sawian is still on.
Police strongly suspect it is a case of suicide but are yet to ascertain the facts as inquiry is going.
