SHILLONG, DEC 16: The Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) militants allegedly gun down two villagers at Meka A du village near Gasuapata on December 13 after accusing them of extorting money in the name of the outfit. South Garo hills SP Davis Marak said that the militants killed Semion Marak and Sengwal D Sangma at Meka A du near Gasuapata for extorting in GNLA name . He said the police have registered a case and a search operation along with the COBRA commandos have been launched to nab the militants responsible for killing the two villagers. – By Our Reporter
