Two state policemen died during training

Shillong, Sept 15: Two constables of the 1^st Meghalaya Police Battalion died after drowning during a training routine Saturday. The two have been identified as Kumbinon Mawlong and Dannylang Nongkhlaw from Mawngap and 3^rd Mile Upper Shillong respectively. The incident took place at around 12.30 noon Saturday while they were on a training routine. The two were undergoing “counter insurgency training” at Dehradun – capital city of Uttarakhand state in North India. –By Our Reporter
