SHILLONG, DEC 1: The Department of Arts and Culture department will organize the Umngot River Festival at Shnongpdeng, Dawki in West Jaintia Hills on December 3.
The event is a part of celebrating Meghalaya’s 50th year of statehood and India’s 75th year of Independence.
Water sports like boating, swimming, water polo and boat tableau competition and zip lining are some of the main attractions of the festival.
