SHILLONG, JUNE 11: The city police on Wednesday arrested three members of the Achik National United Front (ANUF) from the city on Wednesday. The arrest includes the ANUF commander identified as Cornelius Sangma who hails from Garopara Nongjuli under Goalpara district of Assam.
The two other members arrested from near Lady Keane college are  Debojit k Marak (20) and Sengkhan K Marak both from Adokgre- Waramja in North Garo Hills district.
East Khasi hills SP M Kharkhrang informed that the police intercepted after it received intelligence inputs about their presence. The three of them tried to escape but was arrested. He also said that the house they were staying in Lumparing was raided.- By Our Reporter
