SHILLONG, JUNE 18: West Garo hills deputy commissioner (Supply) informed that the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India has once again commenced a scheme for one time grant of deposit free LPG connection under CSR Fund Scheme with single cylinder and a pressure regulator to the families belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) card holders.
The BPL & ration card holders who do not possess LPG connection in the name of any of the family members staying together in one dwelling unit, having common kitchen are eligible under this scheme. Such persons are advised to approach the authorized gas agencies along with valid BPL ration cards and submit the applications in the prescribed format for registration.
For detail information, the applicants are requested to contact the concerned gas agencies for new connection.- By Our Reporter
