You need no longer worry as the city’s young entrepreneurs have come up with a solution by launching www.shillongproperties.com website aimed at providing a common platform for buying, selling and letting out properties which is hassle-free for the people
It is The Shillong Properties (SP) electronic venture launched on Saturday. SP managing director Bishar Nongkhlaw said finding properties to buy or rent in Shillong has always been a hassle as there is no common platform for buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords to interact.
“With this in mind, we decided to set up the firm to deal in the real-estate market and provides a common platform for buying, selling and letting of properties through its official website with the hope to provide better service and convenience to the people of the city and the state,” Nongkhlaw said.
He said after a soft launch of the website last year, the site has received over 4000 pages visits.
“The site provides visitors with detailed information about properties that are currently on the market including details like photos, price, location, property size and even maps.” h
Nongkhlaw said that firm acts as a middle-man between the seller and buyer and between the renter and landlord through a sort of contract agreement.- By Our Reporter
