SHILLONG, MAY 15: A 2002 batch HNLC militant Wanbor Khardewsaw alias Lung of Pyndensohsaw in Mawsynram surrendered before the East Khasi hills SP on Wednesday. According to the police Khardewsaw had manage to escape a police ambush on May 8 at Lad Balki, Dangar while he was moving in a bike along with another HNLC cadre Wansing Umlong who was arrested.
Police said Khardewsaw surrendered on Wednesday.
Police also informed that Khardewsaw was the personal security of the self styled Commander-in-Chief Bobby Marwein. He surrendered without arms.- By Our Reporter
