Shillong, Oct 12; Mawkar Rangbah Shnong WHD Syngkon  Friday called upon the youths to be focused on what they do. Syngkon said this while inaugurating the 21st edition of the state level Karate Championship at JN Sports complex indoor stadium.
Syngkon also asked the young Karatekas to take the event seriously as it is an Olympic recognized event. He also paid a homage to the founder of the AMKA Stephen Leiong for his contribution towards the sports by paying a minute silence and donating rupees ten thousand to the organizers.
A total of eight teams are taking part in  the two days long event jointly organized by All Meghalaya Karate Do Association and Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs.- By Our Reporter
