SHILLONG, SEPT 19: Masked miscreants on Wednesday evening assaulted two labourers and even went to the extent of pouring petrol on one of the labourers at Umshing Mawkynroh under Mawlai Police Station The incident happened at around 5.30 pm when the masked miscreants assaulted Nazrul Ali and Rahan Ali and even poured petrol on Nazul Ali  at their labourer camp. Luckily, both the labourers managed to escape.
They work as labourers for M/S Honsen Lyngdoh Earth movers doing VIP Road While confirming the incident, police said an FIR has been lodged and a case of attempt to murder has been registered. Investigation into the case has already started but no one has been arrested so far. – By Our Reporter
