Petrol bombs lobbed

SHILLONG, SEPT 18:  Unidentified miscreants on Wednesday evening lobbed petrol bomb at the office of the Public Heath Engineering (PHE) located at Mawsynram and also attempted to set fire the old police outpost in Ranikor. Minor damage was reported from the PHE office.

In another incident miscreants set on fire the haystack belonging to fifty-two years old Sunilal Rai and fifty-four years old Surendra Rai in Pynthorbah block 1. The incident took place at around 1 am on Wednesday. The haystack was completely burned and the incident was immediately reported to the police.

Police are investigating into all the three cases. – By Our Reporter
