SHILLONG, OCT 15: In a daring robbery armed masked men robbed fifty two thousand from a petrol pump at Mawsynram, East Khasi Hills on Tuesday evening at gun point even as P Nongrum lodged an FIR with the police complaining that miscreants broke into the office of assistant engineer of MePDCL Mawsynram in the morning and set fire to office files and furniture.
East Khasi hills SP M Kharkrang informed that two masked men with one of them armed with AK 47 and other with 9mm browing pistol robbed the petrol pump. Police recovered bullet shots at the petrol pump building and empty cases of AK 47 and 9MM. The petrol pump manager Sanjay Sharma reportedly sustained injuries on his leg.
