SHILLONG, JAN 22: East Garo Hills District Election Officer (DEO), Ram Kumar S, had constituted the Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) in the district for the purpose of checking paid news, political advertisements, media related issues, etc. for the upcoming Meghalaya Legislative Assembly elections.
The DEO of the district, Ram Kumar S will head the committee as the Chairman with District Public Relations Officer, WG Momin, as Member Secretary, SK Marak, ADC and Eldin A Sangma, Journalist as the members.
