Ultra arrested from Siliguri

TURA, SEPT 20: Meghalaya police arrested an alleged Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) militant Solly Sangma from a locality under Pradannagar police station in Siliguri, West Bengal on Friday. West Garo hills SP Mukesh Singh said, “He is a GNLA cadre and was involved in criminal intimidation and waging war against the state”. He informed that after completion of legal procedures in Siliguri he will be brought to Tura. He said, “He is wanted for cases under Tura police station.”

Police say that through his facebook account and a forum, he has been indulging in different anti-national activities.- From Our Correspondent
