TURA, SEPT 20: Meghalaya police arrested an alleged Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) militant Solly Sangma from a locality under Pradannagar police station in Siliguri, West Bengal on Friday. West Garo hills SP Mukesh Singh said, “He is a GNLA cadre and was involved in criminal intimidation and waging war against the state”. He informed that after completion of legal procedures in Siliguri he will be brought to Tura. He said, “He is wanted for cases under Tura police station.”
Police say that through his facebook account and a forum, he has been indulging in different anti-national activities.- From Our Correspondent
This is utter lies from Mukesh Singh who is a hired killer himself… these acts of intimidation of arresting anyone who speaks out against Mukesh and Bruno for their torture leading to custodial death is condemned. Ultra? is this how media distorts news? only when a person wears the same shoe will they understand how easily police can mislead reports with help from media who go by what police say… The cops are hunting him for a case filed by Bruno which is so baseless as Solly had filed a case against the brother of Bruno Sangma. Bruno states that on receiving information from reliable source, that he (solly) is conspiring with the GNLA against a person Amit…Now since when has the ASP taken interest in personally filing an FIR against someone. How many FIR’s has he filed like this and this is enough to point that this is a vindictive FIR.
He even got another person to file an FIR which says that this person received information from another friend that Solly planned with GNLA to kill him…Now anyone can just make up a same story.. I can say that i was told by my friends that Mukesh and Bruno plan to kill me along with their made up militant groups, and since the two are habitual killers and torturers, I fear for my life.., Now would they accept my FIR ?? No way.. They would not even look at it and immediately file a Final report… …this is how cops in West Garo Hills work.. . they kill, torture women victims, intimidate to scare people, strip women in the PS, take their photographs, manipulate documents, and file vindictive FIR’s just to spite people as the CM and HM look on…
