Minor girl rescue siblings

SHILLONG, NOV 4: In a rare act of bravery, grit and bonding of love a nine year old girl Mersia Saring risked her life and rescued her four siblings when her house got gutted by a blazing fire at Jair village in Ri-Bhoi district recently. Saring’s parents were away visiting relatives when their house caught fire.

However, the nine years old  risked her life to rescue  her younger siblings- seven year old Bonisha Saring, five year old John Saring, six year old Diba Saring and one year old Kalarisha Saring. She broke the door of her house and took out her siblings from the middle of blazing flames that engulfed the entire house. The fire reduced the house to ashes and damaged all the properties.

Saring had to enter the house engulfed by the fire three times to rescue her four siblings.- By Our Reporter
