SHILLONG, AUG 19: An Indian Phensedyl smuggler was apprehended by BSF from a remote area in South Garo Hills district on Wednesday. The accused has been  identified as Shwbo Nipendra Sharma (35) from Dakhin Banga village under Coochbehar district of West Bengal, BSF official said.
According to BSF smugglers are using different disguised techniques to smuggle the phensedyle from India to Bangladesh but the troops are alert and well trained to foil such attempts of smugglers. This smuggled phensedyle is sold to the drug addicts of Bangladesh at huge price, BSF said.
The apprehended person and seized items has been handed over to the police for further legal action.- By Our Reporter
