SHILLONG, NOV 3 : Rangdajied United FC will play host to Salgaocar FC on Tuesday, in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter between the table toppers and the host. Adding more to the thrill is the fact that, the match will be broadcast LIVE for the nation to witness the passion Shillong has for the world’s most beautiful game.
Considering the excitement of the football lovers of the city and the state at large, Rangdajied United FC management has appeal to the agitating ngos organising the road blockage to push back the blockade from 8 PM to 10 PM.
With the match starting at 5 PM, an 8 PM blockade is bound to cause severe inconvenience to the spectators who will be returning home. Moreover, it will also be a challenge for the players, officials and organisers to get back to their respective places by the said time, the Rangdajied management said on Sunday.
To enable the people of Shillong to follow their passion and witness this thrilling encounter,the Rangdajied management has made an earnest appeal to the ngos to delay the blockade by at least two hours.
