TURA, OCT 10: Six dacoits, including minors, beaten up angry mob after they were caught Thursday night at Megongre, near Dadeng in West Garo hills district. Police said that the six attempted to rob villagers.
“Mob caught the six of them and gave a sound thrashing and handed them over to police”, West Garo hills SP Mukesh Singh informed.
Police said in the group of six, one was 13 years old and three of them were 16 years old. Police claims that the group had recently abducted a minor from Zekabari village near Chibinang in West Garo Hills.
Police recovered one SBML gun and five dummy guns from their possession.- From Our Correspondent
