Shillong, Oct 4: The latest FM in town, AIR FM Jongphi on 103.6 mhz has now increased its hours of transmission from 9 am to 7 pm with effect from October 7.
With their listerner’s interest at heart, the FM station has put in place a number of programmes that seek to cater to the varied taste of the people.
The young crowd has a platform of their own in a programme called, ‘my space my voice,’ which will be aired from 5 pm to 6 pm from Monday to Friday where they can give their opinions on a variety of issues that concerns them.
Listeners can sms or dial in their requrest of songs with Radio on Demand daily from 2 pm to 3 pm, ‘Truly Divine’ every Sunday at 5 pm for devotional songs. The programme ‘Straight from the heart’ every Sunday from 4 pm to 5 pm will feature love songs only requested through SMS dedicated to loved ones.
To ease the angst of daily traffic jams, tune in ‘Easy Drive’ every evening from 6pm to 7 pm and to ‘Just Music’ every morning from 9 am to 10 am.
Play rhymes and riddles, share jokes and humor in a daily programme ‘Fun Unlimited’, ‘Music Quizzing’ which airs every Saturday from 4 pm to 5 pm will feature a quiz on music related topics.
