Two thieves arrested

SHILLONG, APR 29: Two thieves were caught from Nongrimmaw for a theft case on Monday even as the police are looking for their associates who had together robbed an MES Quarters shop at the locality. The two who have been arrested by the police have been identified as Sunny Thapa and Ranjit Mushahary. These two along with their friends had robbed the shop in the first week of April.

The two arrested person along with their friends had robbed 39 curtains, 5 bed sheets, 8 plain clothes, 13 sofa and chair covers, 1 jute carpet, 2 driver golf, 1 bicycle, 2 kids scooty, 1 12 inches TV, 2 angle iron picket (fencing pole).All these materials  were recovered from Thapa possession, police informed.- By Our Reporter
